Hallo Balkan (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1) What data we collect
- Account data: email address, display name (if provided), and authentication identifiers (e.g., Google / Apple sign-in identifiers) used to create and access your account.
- Learning progress: lesson/quiz progress, scores, XP, streak status, and similar learning-related data to sync your progress across devices.
- Dictionary / flashcards data: saved words, repetition status, and related learning data (if you use these features).
- Subscription status: whether you have Premium access (e.g., “free” or “premium”) and subscription validity period.
- Purchase-related data: purchase history / entitlement status needed to restore purchases and unlock Premium.
- Push notification token (if enabled): device push token used to deliver notifications (only if notifications are enabled on your device).
- Usage time (local): time spent in the app may be stored locally on your device (e.g., local storage) to show statistics like “minutes per day”.
- Analytics / insights: aggregated usage and feature interaction data (e.g., lessons started/completed, activity counts) to understand feature effectiveness and improve the product.
- Customer support content: information you submit via “report bug/problem”, including message text and (if attached) screenshots/images/files.
- AI chat content (if enabled): messages you type in “Pitaj učitelja (Chat)” and the AI responses (see section 11).
2) What we do not collect
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- We do not use advertising trackers for interest-based ads (as of the effective date above).
- We do not collect your full payment card details (payments are handled by the app stores).
3) How we use your data
- To provide login and account functionality.
- To save and sync your learning progress and statistics.
- To enable Premium access and validate subscription/entitlements.
- To evaluate feature usage and improve the app (analytics/insights).
- To prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
- To provide customer support when you contact us or report issues.
4) Payments
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by the app stores (Apple App Store / Google Play). We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive information such as subscription status (active/expired) to unlock Premium features.
5) Where data is stored / service providers
We use third-party services to operate core app functionality:
- Supabase (authentication and database) — login and storing progress/subscription status.
- Apple / Google (payments) — processing in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- RevenueCat (subscription management) — to manage and verify subscription entitlements across platforms.
- AI provider (e.g., OpenAI) — used to generate responses in the AI chat feature (if enabled).
6) Data retention
- We keep account and learning data as long as you maintain an account, or as needed to provide the service.
- Local usage time data (minutes/day) may stay on your device until you clear app data or uninstall.
- Customer support reports and attachments may be retained as needed to resolve issues and improve stability.
- AI chat messages may be stored temporarily to provide the feature, troubleshoot issues, and improve user experience.
7) Your choices and rights
- Access / correction: you can view your progress inside the app.
- Delete your account: you can delete your account in the app via Account → “Trajno obriši nalog”. After deletion, we remove your account and associated data unless we are legally required to retain certain records.
- Subscription management: manage or cancel your subscription via Apple App Store / Google Play settings.
8) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
9) Children
Hallo Balkan is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the applicable age of consent in your country, please use the service only with a parent/guardian’s involvement.
10) Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
11) AI Chat (“Pitaj učitelja”)
The Service may include an AI chat feature powered by a third-party AI provider (e.g., OpenAI). When you use AI chat, the messages you type and the AI responses may be transmitted to that provider to generate a reply.
- Do not send sensitive personal data (e.g., health info, passwords, financial data) in the chat.
- We may store chat messages temporarily to provide the feature, troubleshoot issues, and improve the user experience.
- The AI provider may process the content to deliver the response. We do not control their internal processing; please also review the AI provider’s terms/policies.

1) Koje podatke prikupljamo
- Podaci naloga: email adresa, ime (ako je uneto) i identifikatori za prijavu (npr. Google / Apple) koji se koriste za kreiranje i pristup nalogu.
- Napredak u učenju: napredak kroz lekcije/kvizove, rezultati, XP, niz (streak) i slični podaci za sinhronizaciju napretka.
- Rečnik / fleš kartice: sačuvane reči, status ponavljanja i slični podaci (ako koristiš ove funkcije).
- Status pretplate: da li imaš Premium (npr. „free“ ili „premium“) i period važenja.
- Podaci o kupovini: istorija kupovine / entitlement status radi vraćanja kupovine i otključavanja Premium-a.
- Push token (ako je uključeno): token uređaja za slanje obaveštenja (samo ako su obaveštenja omogućena na uređaju).
- Vreme u aplikaciji (lokalno): vreme provedeno u aplikaciji može se čuvati lokalno na uređaju (npr. localStorage) radi prikaza statistike („minute po danu“).
- Analitika / uvidi: agregirani podaci o korišćenju i interakcijama (npr. broj pokrenutih/završenih lekcija) radi poboljšanja funkcija i aplikacije.
- Podrška: informacije koje pošalješ kroz “report bug/problem”, uključujući tekst i (ako priložiš) slike/fajlove.
- AI chat (ako je uključen): poruke koje uneseš u “Pitaj učitelja (Chat)” i odgovori (vidi tačku 11).
2) Šta ne prikupljamo
- Ne prodajemo tvoje podatke trećim stranama.
- Ne koristimo oglasne trakere za personalizovane reklame (na dan važenja ove politike).
- Ne prikupljamo pune podatke platne kartice (plaćanja obrađuju prodavnice).
3) Kako koristimo podatke
- Za prijavu i funkcionalnosti naloga.
- Za čuvanje i sinhronizaciju napretka i statistike.
- Za Premium pristup i proveru statusa pretplate/entitlement-a.
- Za analitiku i unapređenje funkcija aplikacije.
- Za bezbednost i sprečavanje zloupotrebe.
- Za podršku kada nas kontaktiraš ili prijaviš problem.
4) Plaćanja
Kupovine i pretplate obrađuju prodavnice (Apple App Store / Google Play). Ne dobijamo tvoje pune podatke kartice. Možemo dobiti informaciju o statusu pretplate (aktivna/istekla) kako bismo otključali Premium.
5) Gde se podaci čuvaju / provajderi
- Supabase (autentifikacija i baza) — prijava i čuvanje napretka/statusa pretplate.
- Apple / Google (plaćanja) — obrada IAP pretplata.
- RevenueCat (upravljanje pretplatama) — verifikacija i upravljanje entitlement-ima.
- AI provajder (npr. OpenAI) — generisanje odgovora u AI chat funkciji (ako je uključena).
6) Čuvanje podataka
- Podatke naloga i napretka čuvamo dok imaš nalog ili koliko je potrebno da pružimo uslugu.
- Lokalni podaci o vremenu u aplikaciji mogu ostati na uređaju dok ne obrišeš podatke aplikacije ili je ne deinstaliraš.
- Prijave problema i prilozi mogu se čuvati koliko je potrebno da se reši problem i poboljša stabilnost.
- AI chat poruke mogu se čuvati privremeno radi funkcionisanja, rešavanja grešaka i poboljšanja iskustva.
7) Tvoja prava i opcije
- Uvid/ispravka: napredak vidiš u aplikaciji.
- Brisanje naloga: nalog možeš obrisati u aplikaciji: Account → “Trajno obriši nalog”. Nakon brisanja uklanjamo nalog i povezane podatke, osim onoga što smo pravno obavezni da zadržimo.
- Pretplate: pretplatom upravljaš preko Apple/Google podešavanja.
8) Bezbednost
Koristimo razumne mere zaštite. Nijedan sistem nije 100% siguran, ali radimo na zaštiti tvojih informacija.
9) Deca
Hallo Balkan nije namenjen deci mlađoj od 13 godina. Ako si mlađi/a od primenljivog uzrasta pristanka u tvojoj zemlji, koristi uslugu uz prisustvo/odobrenje roditelja/staratelja.
10) Izmene
Politiku možemo povremeno ažurirati. Najnovija verzija će biti objavljena na ovoj stranici sa novim datumom važenja.
11) AI chat (“Pitaj učitelja”)
Usluga može sadržati AI chat funkciju koju pokreće eksterni AI provajder (npr. OpenAI). Kada koristiš chat, poruke koje uneseš i odgovori mogu biti prosleđeni tom provajderu radi generisanja odgovora.
- Ne šalji osetljive lične podatke (npr. zdravstvene informacije, lozinke, finansijske podatke) kroz chat.
- Poruke možemo čuvati privremeno radi funkcionisanja, rešavanja grešaka i poboljšanja iskustva.
- AI provajder može obrađivati sadržaj kako bi vratio odgovor. Preporuka je da pogledaš i njihove uslove/politike.
